We went to the pumpkin patch in
Caledonia with MOPS. It was
great way to begin our fall festivities. The weather was beautiful.
We went on a hay ride, the kids played in corn, they rode little tractors, we roasted marshmellows and bought some pumpkins. Fun! Fun!

Ben's Baptism

Here I am almost a year later giving this blog thing another go. The highlight this month was Ben's baptism on August 1st. He was baptized with his good friends Cooper Page and Anna Pierce. Unfortunately we didn't have any of our extended family come, but we had many people from the ward come to support us. It was a wonderful day!

Ben and Lilly also started school this month, on Aug. 5th and are both really enjoying their classes and their teachers. I am enjoying spending a little more quiet time with Aaron and Will.

mississippi

Here we are in Mississippi! Ten years ago I never would have imagined we would be living here. It is actually a nice town and we are enjoying our home and neighborhood. I am keeping very busy at home with, Lil, Aaron and Will, while Ben attends 2nd grade at Cook Elementary. Ben has made a good friend who lives two doors down. It is nice for him to have a friend so close. Ben is standing right here and he says, "We like to play weapons and climb in 'my' climbing tree." Ben was awarded an honor roll ribbon today and he was recently made "Cook Cool Kid" of the week. He still enjoys collecting bugs and he has tried catching several lizards, because, " he loves lizards!" He also drew a picture of a lizard at school and his picture was chosen for him to be entered in a drawing to win a trip to Disney World. Lilly is enjoying staying home and playing with Aaron. Life is good.

blog peer pressure

Okay, so I finally broke down and decided to start a blog against my better judgement. Why not, right? Everybody else is doing it. Actually, we recently relocated to Columbus, Mississippi and I figured a blog would be the best way to keep family and friends updated on our life down here in the south. So far things are going well and the kids seem happy.
